The personnel at the hotel were very helpful. The shuttle was especially useful since we had not rented a car. The shuttle even goes back and forth to the airport which is about 20 minutes away.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't care whether or not they stay in a fancy hotel. Service was very good and they offer a shuttle to the airport. This place has was in a great location. Shops were all within walking distance. La Cabana Mexican Restaurant is directly behind the hotel and the food was fantastic. I should know, I'm Mexican. My white friends like it too. :-) Hotel is located on 5th Avenue and all the shops, restaurants, Starbuck, musuems and even the mall are on 4th and 5th. So that was great! Costal Trail was not far either. Great place.

We used the hotel as a stopover after train from Seward so arrived at night and left early morning. Accommodations were adequate and fairly clean. The staff were very helpful. Given the low price for downtown accommodation we would use this hotel and if you're not looking for luxury accommodations I would recommend staying there. You do need to be able to carry luggage up/down stairs.
