The hotel is clean and well presented. The staff are attentive and pleasant. The breakfast was very good and we were served very promptly. The bedroom and en suite was however quite cramped and there was very little storage space for clothing, also the lighting in the room was not bright enough. The free parking was a bonus!

We liked everything about the hotel. It was just the right size, the staff was very friendly, our room was large, quiet and had a nice view, the food in the restaurant was quite good and the location was great. This was a combination business/pleasure trip and we couldn't imagine a better hotel for this stay.

Hotel was ideally placed, close to the centre of Edinburgh with most sights within walking distance. The Hotel itself was contemporary but did not lose in any way the traditional charm of an olde Edinburgh Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

Personally, next time I book a Hotel it will be through Skoosh... very easy and the prices were second to none!
