Royal Terrace Hotel is a 4 star hotel in Edinburgh. Part of a prestigious Georgian Terrace, the Royal Terrace hotel overlooks Scotland's historic capital, the city of Edinburgh, and can be found just minutes' walk from the city centre. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment, with upgrades and improvements to all rooms and public areas, all carried out in a manner that is conscious of both the building and the immediate environment. This Edinburgh hotel combines traditional charm with the contemporary luxury that guests expect of a high quality hotel.

The Royal Terrace offers spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, state of the art leisure facilities, outstanding traditional and contemporary cuisine and delightful surroundings. The private, landscaped terraced gardens are appreciated by many of the guests who return time and again for either business or pleasure.

I would recommend this hotel .
My friend and I were on a shopping girly weekend. We found our room to be too warm and we had a fan deliverd to the room straight away. We were right next to the lift but it wasn't a problem. The staff were helpful. We made use of the pool. The breakfast was good .We were very well situated for everything if you don't mind a 10 min walk to the main shopping area it was 20 min to the old town and the castel.I would recommend a visit to the Stand Comedy Club it's a good night and the food was tasty if your ok with a bar snack. The hotel had lovely gardens which was an extra in a city hotel.Hope to go back soon.

The price for this room was outrageous (which i knew beforehand) and the room was tiny. Even for european standards, it was tiny. And the bed was not comfortable at all.
