I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was really clean and the room was perfect. The staff were friendly too. It is very close to the shops and main attractions. The breakfast was yum and you could even order breakfast to the room if you wanted (free of charge).

The room was very comfortable and the facilities good. The free internet was great and 'just worked' without having to be set up at all. Oh, and the breakfast was wonderful: full range of cooked and non-cooked available as a buffet with never-ending streams of coffee or tea as required.

We were attending a regional technical conference, Scotland on Rails. The proximity to attractions, restaurants, and landmarks was perfect. The wired internet connection in the room and wireless in the lobby always more than met our needs (from checking email to watching streaming internet video).

The included breakfast of eggs, sausage (, haggis?) and fresh fruits was a good start to each morning.

The staff were great even after we shorted out a socket in our room trying to daisy-chain US to UK converters to make a proper connection.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Ten Hill Place. Some of our friends can't say the same for their choice of accommodations for the same event.
