Renovated in the year 2000, this hotel comprises 6 floors with a total of 177 rooms, of which 162 are double rooms and 2 are suites. Various facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange counter, a cloakroom and a lift. A bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant are also available for guests' use. Additionally, a conference room, a public Internet terminal (WLAN), a children's playground, laundry and room services as well as a car park are on offer to guests. Set in 18 acres of parkland on the banks of the River Clyde, the hotel is a short drive from the centre of Glasgow and makes a perfect base for visiting the Kilpatrick Hills, the Trossachs and Loch Lomond. The main rail stations in Glasgow (Central and Queen St) are a 10 minute taxi journey from the hotel. Paisley rail station is 5 miles away, as is Glasgow International Airport. There is a children's play area, an indoor swimming pool, sun loungers, a steam room, a solarium, a massage service and a sauna available to guests. Sports enthusiasts may also want to make use of the in-house gym. The informal atmosphere of the Riverfront restaurant is complemented by traditional Scottish dishes and an eclectic mix of contemporary cooking styles. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a lighter meal, or at times when the restaurant is not open, you can choose from the house menu which is available all day in the bar and the lounge, or you can take advantage of the 24-hour room service. By road, exit the M 8 at junction 30 and take the M 898 at the first junction. Follow signs for Erskine, take a right turn at the first roundabout, go straight through the second roundabout, left at the third (you should now see the hotel) and finally right at the fourth roundabout. You can also reach the hotel by a short taxi ride from the following rail stations: Glasgow Central & Queen St, Paisley and Bishopton.

My sister and I love staying at the Erskine Bridge Hotel

We have stayed overnight twice when we were attending the Dominic Kirwan Christmas dance. We only stay 20 minutes away in Dumbarton so the hotel is easily accessible to us. We love indulging ourselves ,quite economically, whenever we can. Both times we were on the refurbished 4th floor with panoramic views from the huge windows. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the food is good and the staff are always friendly and obliging. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.

started badly but.........

started very badly with pool being closed (i chose this hotel as i wanted leisure facilities) although this was not mentioned on web site and we were given a twin room not a queen/king as booked on web site which had stained bed throws and carpet however we were moved to a double room which i must say was nothing like what we moved from as this had been refurbished and was clean,thanks to reception staff for resolving. I must say the staff at this hotel are very friendly and attentive,we were at the front of the restaurant for dinner and were served by 2 very pleasant young ladies who were chatty and really seemed to care about their guests.Our dinner was very good as was breakfast,i felt it was good value and i would return/recommend but would worry about ending in a non renovated room

nice room

the pool was closed for maintenance, the other guests were noisy, the service was average but i cant complain too much as my room was nice and the view was great. wifi was only available in the lobby, which i didnt want to use. room wifi was chargeavle so i just used my phones 3g connection

Erskine Bridge, convenient.

It was perfectly acceptable, clean enough and breakfast was good too. For the location it was perfectly placed as a base. Only a couple of problems there was no digital tv available and on the last day we were due to check out by 11:00 but twice we had 2 people from housekeeping knock the door before we had gone to breakfast at 9. Then when we had finished a third housekeeping call. Twice by the same person. I recommend a do not disturb sign to be placed outside, wish we had!

Not what we expected

I purchased the Erskine Hotel from skoosh website. It was sold as a 4* hotel which is incorrect, the hotel is a 3*. Rooms are average, the entrance and bathroom have been recently refurbished but the bedroom is old and dated. The Erskine was not what we expected.
