Normandy is a 3 star hotel in Glasgow. The hotel is less than a mile from Glasgow International Airport and just a 10-minute drive from the city centre. Road links are excellent for providing easy access to surrounding cities such as Edinburgh. Loch Lomond is also just a 20-minute drive.
Ideal location for Glasgow City Airport and also within easy reach of the city centre. Excellent value for money.
This is a 4-storey building built in 1964. The hotel has of course been refurbished to a high standard, and offers extensive on site car parking for guests as well as coaches.
The hotel has one restaurant, which serves international cuisine. The restaurant is large in size and is bright and airy. The lounge/bar is also available offering light snacks and drinks, in a more relaxed area.
The lobby is large in size, modern and welcoming. This leads in to a large bar area and to the restaurant to the rear. Seating is available for guests.
The rooms are medium in size with en-suite bathroom, colour television with in-house movie channel, hair dryer, trouser press, 24-hour room service and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are in good condition, and are traditionally furnished with burgundy features.

If you are looking to stay near the airport and in the suburbs yes. It's a basic hotel in a crappy location!

Ended up not having breakfast but not for any specific reason Saturday morning missed it as we slept in and then we booked out on the Saturday night and missed the Sunday breakfast as well. The Hotel room we had was basic to say the least but I suppose you get what you pay for.
We went to the Tribute show and I thought it was very good the Neil Diamond tribute act was a bit young but was very good and the Elvis tribute was not bad either. The guy doing Neil Diamond sang again himself and was very very good and Elvis came back on as Tom Jones and was not bad so for £20 a head ok it was not the ritz but for entertainment it was well worth it, the meal was ok also.

Beds were lousy, the restaurant food unimagintive but decent,
hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. There was mold on the bathroom ceilings, and there was poor lighting and poorly placed electrical outlets. The internet was 1 pound for 10 minutesbut was out of order. It was very close to the airport and this proximity to the airport is the only reason I would stay. Did not meet expectations. The bar seemed like a popular place for people to meet

The price was decent. The breakfast was great. Bed was old and a bit rough on the back. A little noisy too (could hear water running, people in other rooms), but what I expected given the price and proximity to the airport.
