Rennie Mackintosh Station is a 2 star hotel in Glasgow. Located next to Glasgow Central Station, this property could not be more central. Surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants, this is an excellent base from which to explore Glasgow.
This is a budget property, whose prime selling point is its location. The accommodation itself is not luxurious but offers good value for money.
The exterior of this property is somewhat dated, but provides direct access on Union St. in central Glasgow.
Rooms have either bath or shower and are in fair condition. Whilst not being luxuriously appointed, furnishings are simple and a little dated. Nevertheless all rooms are medium in size and offer comfortable accommodation.
The breakfast room on the first floor holds up to 30 people.
The reception is found on the first floor and is welcoming, with a seating area.

Was surprised to find that the door handle in the room side was loose and would come off. This posed a health and safety risk. When I reported it they did not seem to have been aware nor did they take immediate steps to rectify. Rather were willing to wait another day! What would have happened in emergency?

I was very impressed with how friendly the staff were!! Good area of the city! Impresse with the bathroom of the room. Room was a little damp but overall very good. The only diadvantage was i had to pay £16 parking as there aint any parking!
