The hotel was comfortable and a good value, but the downtown location is too remote from the other premium hotels on the strip, and cab rides there averaged $20. I spent more on cabs than I saved by staying at the Nugget.

Really nice.....when I arrived they didn't have a non-smoking King as requested. I whined a little and they upgraded me to a suite that was exceptional. I reciprocated by taking $1800 more than I put in from their slot machines.

All in all, good deal.

The Golden Nugget is a great place to stay in Las Vegas. This was the fourth time that we have stayed their and it just gets better and better. The atmosphere and the employees make it the best place to be in Downtown Las Vegas.
