The rate available on Skoosh for this hotel was outstanding and included one night free for a 4 day stay and full english breakfast.
This hotel would exceed all expections for the price paid and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff are the most wonderful team on all levels and the restaurant service is particularly exceptional. The choice and quality of the the full breakfast will be hard to beat. The pre Theatre dinner was both great value and excellent quality. A quality experience from start to finish. You are made to feel pampered and special.
The rooms are modern. Perhaps no character but functional and spotless. The bathrooms are not large but very clean with quality towels and robes. No bath but a power shower and White Company products. The Apple computer doubles as a TV.... fantastic picture and with Sky channels. Free internet too. Daily housekeeping was to a very high standard.
If you get the best rate you won't believe the value and please do eat. Whether it's breakfast or dinner it will be 10/10.
A wonderful stay.

This was my second stay at the City Inn, which is a recommendation in itself.
The hotel is well located in a quiet area of Central London, with the No 87 bus running along Millbank and the No 88 bus running along John Islip Street.
The hotel is very clean, with pleasant, helpful staff.
The breakfast room is well run with an excellent selection on the buffet and from the menu. On this visit I also had dinner in the dining room on several occasians, a standard set price two or three course dinner.

This was a very comfortable hotel. Nicely furnished room, very clean, good bed, smallish but reasonable bathroom, complimentary iMac in every room, and full English breakfast all for a reasonable room rate made for a great value. They allowed us to check-in early at 8:00 a.m. after arriving on an early flight from New York. The front desk and concierge were extremely friendly and accommodating. Although the hotel does not have a conveniently located tube station, the 88 and C10 buses stop just a block from the front entrance. They run frequently and efficiently and are much more pleasant to ride than the tube. There were always several taxis waiting just outside the hotel if we were ever in a hurry (though this may just be a temporary side effect of the current economic malaise.) I would return to this hotel in a minute next time I am in London.

Not usually a fan of purpose built business hotels but this was a breath of fresh air. Room was faultless, spacious, comfy bed, flat-screen tv/Apple computer, bathroom spotless with excellent shower, all very stylishly done. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice of options speedily served. And every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, almost unheard of in London. Great location only 5 mins from Pimlico tube. Can't think of any reason to stay anywhere else whenever we're in town. Highly recommended.

I would be happy to recommend the City Inn, probably best for business or adult travellers as it is quite a way out from the centre of london (especially now there are problems with the victoria line after 10pm!) its worth knowing that the 88 bus from picadilly circus and trafalgar square drops you almost at the door. Every room has a tv/pc and there is a library of dvd's and cd - ideal if the weather turns. The hotel staff were pleasant and efficient, and the location is great for access to the thames (millbank pier across the road) all in all, a great stay, would be happy to go back. Only issues for me as a lone traveller would be the transport back home after a show, its quite a walk to pimlico and even longer to st james.

I booked my reservation through Skoosh with City Inn Westminster because of the value compared to many other more expensive hotels in Central London. I was VERY impressed with the service. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The Concierge staff especially were all very helpful (although they should have known that the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace as of August 1, 2008 is now done only on the 'odd' days of the calendar (I waited two hours there for nothing). To give you an example of the great service, my lost luggage necessitated my having to buy clothes. The concierge recommended a number of stores on Victoria Street which were quite reasonable in price (for London). Also, they helped me find a cheap internet cafe to purchase a simcard for my unlocked cell phone...VERY helpful and not expensive at all. I HIGHLY recommend City Inn Westminster.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean, and spacious. The best shower recess experienced in London, although the bathroom itself was small.
Excellent breakfast, good cold buffet, hot course cooked upon order.
good bus connections with central London.
Easy walking distance to The Tate on Millbank.

AN EXCELLENT HOTEL IN THE CENTRE OF LONDON
WE FOUND THE EASIEST WAY OF TRAVELLING AROUND WAS BY LONDON BUS. STOP ALMOST BESIDE HOTEL.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD WAS OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD.
WOULD USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN IF STAYING IN LONDON.
