The Hotel had a pleasant appearance from the outside. The room was simple but served its purpose. However, it was disappointing that there was no telephone in the Hotel room. Which Hotel doesn't have a phone in it? Accordingly, we had arranged a taxi through reception (which never came) and we missed our Eurostar train to Paris. The airconditioner in the room also wasn't working.

On the other hand the staff were very helpful and breakfast was tasty.

The Hotel is also not as close to the City centre as the advertisement makes out.

There was no air conditioning and the window was very limited making the room rather hot. (Also with a window open you can hear the DLR trains most the night)
There was no room service or even a phone, the restaurant menu was rather limited, and the service was slow.
The room was very basic: Bed, TV(which only picks up 7 channels), Desk, Hangers, Cabinet.
The tea and coffee making facilities provided were just enough to make 3 cups of tea.
I felt the hotel was not good value at £65 It's okay for a one night stay, but I certainly wouldn't recommend staying longer, as there is very little to do both in or out the hotel.
I wouldn't stay there again unless it was considerably cheaper.

We found the hotel very easily. It was literally 2 mins from the nearest tube station and 1 minute from the mainline train station. The underground was very quick to get to anywhere you fancied going and ran on 'til quite late. Very useful.

Access to the hotel 24 hours a day, rooms clean and ideal. The only thing I would say is that the rooms were incredibly warm. We only noticed on our last day that we could have borrowed a fan from the receptions. Make sure you do that!

Breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from and it was buffet INCLUDING a cooked english breakfast so not just continental!! Fantastic.

The receptionist/manager was very pleasant and helpful. He even allowed us to print a confirmation voucher from the reception for a pre-booked event!

All in all was value for money, great location, a wonderful weekend away.
