Our stay at the Westin LAX was very nice. The room was good size (2 adults, 2 kids) with very comfortable beds, nicely decorated, good size bathroom with awesome shower heads! The downside for the room was the traffic noise coming from Century Blvd. It is not really loud, but definitely noticeable. We slept fine, the traffic did not bother us at all. The only option, we were told by the bellman, was to move to a room on the airport side. He didnt' recommend that since flights depart and land 24 hours...a little noisier. So, we stayed where we were and it really was not an issue. The kids used the pool and spa, which was simple but a nice treat. Starbucks coffee in the room, as well as a coffee cart in the lobby. Selfparking was $18/night. We would stay there again if we got a similar deal. |

The lobby of the Westin LAX is very nice. Huge open spaces and very nice decor. Looks very much like the quality you find at Westin hotels. That is until you walk into the elevator and see the rest of the hotel. The hallway carpets were filthy with massive dark stains all over. The cleanliness of the rooms was just average. There is a huge wall-to-wall cabinet that combines drawers, a desk and a platform for the television. It is awkwardly shaped and looks like it was haphazardly designed. Housekeeping would replace only certain used items. The beds were not heavenly beds in both of our rooms. They had dirty sheets between the duvet and the inner sheet. The swimming pools walkways need to be completely resurfaced. There are hundreds of little patches of missing paint all over the surface. It looks like it has not been properly maintained. |

We picked this hotel due to its large fitness center. It had 5 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 5 bikes, free weights, resist-a-balls, a few weight machines and TVs at each cardio machine with headphones available...all available 24 hrs/day. The room was very nice, pretty linens, comfy beds. Restaurant was a bit pricey but very nice offerings and quality of food was excellent. |

Clean Specious Rooms, Updated and Modern Interior, Comfortable Bed, Proximity and Shuttle to the Airport, and City Views are plus. Expensive Breakfast and Parking options were dissapointing. |

Nice room, very comfortable bed. We thought it would be a little loud to sleep in, but the drapes were actually a sound barrier to the traffic noise outside. |
