This Villa is the perfect option for those who prefers a more relax atmosphere than the busy Medina in Marrakech. The Villa has a berber or caidale tent, a fantastic garden and a outside pool. There is also a tennis court, gym & fitness, a Hammam for natural baths, massages services & a beauty center. The Villa has its onw transfer service from & to the airport with good prices. Please contact the Villa directly to get a quotation. ( this service is provide only for the villa and the tour operator has not any obligations. ) ( JMG 07/08) This Riad is situated within 15min from the city center, 10 min from the main golf courses and only 20 min from the airport. The Riad Las Palmeras is a very nice and charming property, at a few km from Marrakech on the road to Ouarzazate. From outside the Riad looks as a good modern Villa, completely different to the Riads in La Medina. Its surrounded by its park of olive-trees and palm plantation. The lobby is mostly a reception area as soon as the guest get into the building. It's nicely decorated in Moroccan style. The rooms of this Riad are all individually decorated with different styles & distribution. All are in perfect condition, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms again are in perfect condition and of a good size. The standard rooms refer to room Zaida, Jouhra, Alambar & Yacout.

A real taste of Morocco

Yes, we would recommend Las Palmeras to others. Most impressed by the decor and outside veranda overlooking a well maintained pool. Very good value for money, though we did take an upgrade for 10 Euros per night for a room in the main complex which had airconditioning, a balconey, fridge, satellite TV and en-suite shower etc. The food of an evening was a bit pricey compared to local standards, but nevertheless tasty. As this is an out of town location, away from the hubbub of Marrakech we were able to relax in style. However, a taxi or hire car is needed for any realistic movements as it's 12 kms from town.

nothing to recommend it . to far out of town Â£30 return in taxi . no restuarant at night . could get dinner at night if you asked ,but was expensive , . no bar or cafe . nothing locally. o k if you are happy being cut of from the world

Las Palmeras

We stayed for two nights. Getting a taxi to the hotel was a hassle as all the taxi men tried to charge us 300 dirham. It should only be 150. The woman at the hotel was really helpful though. The rooms are lovely and the pool was great. It's a quiet hotel n we really enjoyed this. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. This hotel is a bit out so it will cost you â‚¬10 each way into the city centre. this is using the taxi arranged by the hotel. If you were looking to stay at the hotel and not go into the city much it's perfect but would be expensive if you wanted to go inti city a lot and you didn't have a car.
