I'll start with the positive features first. GREAT location. On the beach, a few steps from Lincoln Rd., & a brief walk to some of Miami's best hot spots: Loews, Gansevoort, Shore Club/Nobu, Delano. Entrance, lobby, & pool area were nice, but don't be fooled. The rooms were an absolute dump. I saw reviews that stated this, but thought "it can't be that bad," but the reviews were unfortunately right-on. Old, stained carpet, worn out furniture, torn bed skirts, tiny rooms, & the beds didn't even have a comforter, just a sheet! When I asked for a comforter or duvet because it was unseasonably cold last week, I was told no & had to try calling different people until someone sent a ratty duvet up. Not what I expected for $300/night.

The Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach is wonderfull hotel, nice staff, perfect location - highly recommedable.
The price was very OK - EXCEPT from the fee (20 US dollar) you have to pay PR. PERSON for using pool area etc. even if you don't use the facilities - THAT IS NOT OK.

Once again, i enjoyed my stay at the palm..Friendly staff, very clean room, the pool area and the gym made for a wonderful time. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. I'm not a picky person but after reading other reviews I was worried about the condition of the rooms. Our room was awesome, the staff was courteous, and the hotel itself is in decent condition. I would not consider this a 4 star hotel but its so much better than what the other reveiws said. See it yourself!!!

We stayed here for a wedding for which other guests paid $100 more a night than we did. Our room was in an "annex", but it was fine -- a sitting room as well as a bedroom. No special amenities like bathrobes, refrigerator, or a safe.... but it was great for the price. Just keep in mind they you'll be charged a resort fee and the parking is separate and must be paid in cash.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price. Thanks, Skoosh!

Yes, would recommend and use again. Service personnel were less than friendly and new carpet is needed badly. Rooms were fine but just looked old compared to entrance and lobby. Value was fine but would not want to pay more.

Highly recommended..Very clean..Close to restaurants, shopping areas..the pool, the gym..It exceeded my expectations...Anyone looking for a place to stay in South Beach, Royal Palm is your place..You will not be disappointed.

Hotel was not as bad as some other reviews had said it was. The facilities were clean and the pool and the beach chairs and all were very nice.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel, but at least a 3.5 star hotel.

I was satisfied with my stay at the Royal Palms, However for the time im spending there i would make some changes. I would enjoy a free continental breakfast in the morning including.. cereal, bagel, juice, muffins, etc... . And the housekeeping service was lacking during my stay. The rooms were not fully cleaned every day. My room was provided with no towels, and wash cloths, and i found it very inconvienent having to keep calling the front desk for the proper housekeeping service.

nice plush modern rooms with flat screen tvs. excellent service - free beach chairs and umbrellas. 2 real nice pools - great chance to meet people.
