Excellent hotel. Great location, efficient service and the rooms were terrific. Beds were so comfortable-location was just great and the Concierge's recommendations were terrific. Very retro decor, but certainly up to date on everything else.

The Doubletree was very spartan - small rooms, little closet space. However, for Manhatten, it was tolerable.

Of more concern was the service. The TV was broken but it took nearly a day for staff to arrive to investigate. Also, the hotel signed for an important overnight package. That package was not timely delivered. According to the Hotel, although it was signed for, they claim that FedEx did not actually deliver the package. Lesson to the Doubletree: Don't sign for a package that you don't receive!

Not professional at all.

The hotel was great...good value for the money...nice sized rooms.... the best was the staff...we stayed for the weekend, came back on Tuesday after traveling to the Berkshires...on our return, the staff recognized us and allowed us to store our luggage (5 pieces) ....Brian was particularly helpful!

GREAT value for the money we spent on this hotel (through Skoosh booking) - The check-in process was seamless. We were even given two fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies as a welcome treat! - We stayed in a King bed handicap-accessible (there we no queen bed rooms available when we checked in). The room was not spacious (but not cramped), very clean, big bed, flat-screen tv. Bathroom was spotless. Extra towels provided, very clean linens. - We did not use any of the hotel amenities (fitness center, restaurants, bars) but the lobby and all hotel premises were very clean, nice decor - We received very friendly and helpful service from the concierge, front desk, and bell-hops - Hotel gift shop was super-expensive ($6+ for two small Minute Maid cranberry juices!) but that was expected...
I would definitely return to this hotel. GREAT location and great value for the money!
