We loved the Helmsley Park Lane

I was particularly impressed with the room and the housekeeping service. The room was spacious and airy, with quality linens and a large well-appointed bathroom. The maid was very helpful and when I needed extra towels, they were brought to the room quickly. My expectations were exceeded. This hotel is great value for the money.

Great Value--Especially for NYC

I suppose this hotel is understated given it's name! The accomodations are very comfortable and the location is great! The good service, while pricely, is outstanding!

ok but did not love

I ended up paying an extra $35 for a rollaway for my daughter who decided to come. A King bed was requested on original booking but when we got there, we could only have a King by paying $65.00 more so we opted for the rollaway. The room was small, the faucet leaked. I think the hotel is a little far from Time Sq and other sites. Central Park is across St. but affordable restaurants were not found nearby.
