Ideal hotel for sightseeing as the location is perfect for shopping, bars, restaurants and all the main attractions.

Time Square and Central Park are also only a short walk away.

The hotel itself is ok, but dont expect to be blown away by it !!

Room was decent size but make sure you are at the side of the hotel away from the building works.

Also check out the Dynasty Chinese downstairs as its lovely.

If you get a cheap deal then go for this place but wouldn't book it for a special occasion or if your expecting 5* quality and service.

To be honest there is so much to do in New York you will hardly ever be in your room - for us it was an ideal place to crash after a long day exploring !!!

For a decent amount of room (free upgrade) and comfy bed (Sleep by Number) you can't be the price or location in NYC. There is a Starbucks in the lobby that was nice for coffee in the AM. We used to live in Manhattan and we came in for an event, this hotel was perfect for us. Sure its a bit old and the hallway a bit noisy but if you want a a good deal and not to feel like you are in a motel this is the place!

I would definitely recommend it to others. The carpeting in the hallways is dated but who cares? How long are you in the hallways. The sushi bar is fantastic. Great prices. Would stay there again in a minute. Just remember that you get charged $2 a bag to store your luggage. Not a big deal but it's the first hotel I've experienced that at. Was impressed that we got upgraded because I asked to - that was a bonus.

I would recommend the Radission Lexington if you get a great deal. The room wasn't too bad and it was cleaned well. It had some updating but it's a little rough around the edges but it's an old hotel. I wouldn't pay over $200 for the room but I have stayed in worse for the price I got the room for, no complaints on my part. The staff was friendly enough and the elevators were efficient. Didn't have any meals at the hotel so I wouldn't be able to comment on it. Overall it was a good experience and the location was very good.

Having read the reviews onlind I decided to give the place a chance. The price Skoosh got for us was incredible for the location, right next to Grand Central and the Rockefeller. The staff on the desk were very pleasant and helpful, room was spotless and well equipped but no coffee making facilities. This is taken care of by a coffee shop on the ground floor. Minibar prices were daft as usual, but the small store across the road solved that. Didn't eat in the restaurant as the one in Grand Central was far too inticing! All in all I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and would defo go there again.

The hotel was great. Lobby beautiful. Excellent location. The bed we got was only a double which was disappointing but there was no guarantee to get a king sized, so I understood. The worse was that the hotel is under construction, (the outside facade) and the workers start early! In addition, the building lot across the street is also under construction, so this will be going on for quite some time as they are only just finishing demolition there! I would definitely try to get another side of the hotel but I am not sure if you'll hear any noise on the other side too. I have stayed at this hotel before construction and it was always excellent and I am a New Yorker so I know first hand. Everything inside is renovated and very pretty, the bar area and attached restaurant are also very good.

Affordable!! Not as close to downtown, however, it is within walking distance. Great service!! Would love to return!

I was very happy with this hotel. I was given a free upgrade to a larger room with 1 king-size bed and two bathrooms. The room was clean, spacious, modern and well decorated. Plus, the tubs were deep (if you like to take baths, that's a plus). The only down-side of my stay was interacting with an extremely rude bellhop. But, it's NYC so it's not that uncommon to have to deal with rudeness.
