The Roosevelt Hotel

This hotel is located in the center of everything and right across the street from Grand Central Station. It is older with an elegant lobby and helpful staff. The rooms are expensive, clean but rather modest for the price. There is no free internet in the rooms and there is a charge for it there and in the business center on the 2nd. floor. I found this very unwelcoming, inconvenient and out of step with all other hotels. Good breakfast bar in am with Starbucks coffee. Walkable to theaters, shopping and Central Park. I had all day meetings in the hotel so it was very convenient for me. The best feaure of this hotel is the location

Roosevelt did not disappoint

When I walked into the lobby, I was concerned that I was in the wrong hotel. The main areas of the lobby are much nicer than what I would expect for how much I had to pay. The rooms were fine. The soft king bed was perfect for recovering from those long days around NYC. My only complaint is that a cockroach crawled across my bed on the first night. But the hotel was apologetic and gave me a free meal voucher to cover breakfast the following day.

Perfect loction..Cozy and clean rooms.

I would recommend the hotel and I would stay again. The main areas are gorgeous, the room are rather samllish like most NY hotels of this era but bigs a comfy and showers are clean. Close to many sites to see inwalking distance but there are always cabs easily available to evening you have on heels and don't want to trot. GREAT PLACE, especailly for the price we paid thanks to SKoosh!

The Roosevelt hotel

It was a great price!! The hotel room was nice and clean and the customer service was awesome. Alfredo helped check me into my hotel room and he was very helpful. Alfredo should get a raise!!! All of the other customer service agents were helpful as well!!

The Grand Dame isn't anymore!

This place is really a dump for what you have to pay. The customer service is terrible. If you have a problem, don't expect anyone to care. This hotel should be a 2 Star hotel.
