The hotel is located in Midtown Manhattan's West Side, just minutes from major attractions and the theatre district. HOTEL IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. Hotel consists of two buildings both of which are wheelchair accessible on all floors. Recommended for the budget-minded traveler. Traditional brick building. Deluxe rooms have one king plus pull out sofa or 2 queen beds. Room is also equipped with on demand movies, Nintendo64, Webtv and Wi-Fi Wireless Broadband internet connection. Hairdryers, irons, and in room safes. Refrigerator in all deluxe rooms. On-site restaurant which features Italian/Continental cuisine serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cocktail lounge also offers an appetizers and snacks menu. The lobby is medium in size with white and green marbled floors, cedar wooden walls and a large seating area with brown leather sofas. 15 kms to the airport (la guardia), 25 kms to the airport (jfk).

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — I would recommend the hotel to others. The location is great right in times square and is easy to get to off the highway. It is a great hotel for travelers looking to travel by car because you are able to leave your car parked in the garage for your stay for $10.00 which is a great deal for NYC! The only issue I had with the hotel was the room was very warm. The weekend of my stay it was humid and warm and we had trouble getting the air conditioner to kick in in our room. The value is decent for New York City. If you are looking for a room to sleep in for the night it definitely fits those needs. My expectations were met on my second visit to the Skyline. Low price for NYC, great location, and easy access a garage for parking!!!

Nothing special, but OKAY place to stay

If other hotel choices were booked, I would stay here. Clean and nice. About 1 "block" too far away from anything, including a subway. Most of the staff always wanted to say no to anything first, then somehow I could talk them into doing what I needed. It was like working with sulky children. They say dog friendly, but we never saw any.

Location, Location at Skyline Hotel

Great location, corner of 49th St & 10th Ave. Easy walk to Time Square, connecting with the Hop-on, Hop-off tours & Broadway shows.. Good breakfast at City Light Cafe, just up 10th Ave.

very good for price

Nice clean room. Noisy toilet and low water pressure in shower. Restaurant is temporarily closed for remodel. The parking lot people are very helpful. They let you leave the car there until 3:00 the day of checkout. Note: You may not take car in and out once you arrive. Consider it parked for duration of stay. The price was right and no major issues. 15-20 minute walk to Times Square. Very good deli sandwiches on corner one block south.

Skyline was a good time

It wasn't swanky or in any a luxory hotel but the staff were very nice and the rooms were clean and when you're visiting a city that is going to keep you out and about the majority of the time, you don't need a room with bells and whistles because you're not going to be there much to enjoy them anyway.
