Wanderers Inn Hostel East

Wanderers Inn is close to the famous Museum Mile, where you'll find The Metropolitan Museum, The Solomon Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum and The International Center of Photography among many other attractions. Central Park is 3 blocks away and the subway station, 2 blocks. All rooms have high ceilings and air-conditioning and are clean. All private rooms can sleep up to two people and include a TV, all dormitory rooms have lockers (bring your own pad lock) and the larger dormitory rooms have their own bathroom. Linen is provided free of charge. There's a fully equipped kitchen in the common dinning area, although it's a little small and there's also a TV, internet access and games, with a backyard and garden. There's a good free breakfast provided of bagels, muffins etc. and this is a really useful touch. The staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of the local area. A great choice for those on a budget.
