Renovated in 2007, this charming city hotel comprises a total of 170 rooms and is great value for money. It offers a fantastic location, well equipped rooms and well trained, friendly staff. The beautiful lobby has a large seating area, a business centre, and guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and muffins each morning. Further facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a 24-hour check-in/check-out service, a hotel safe, a newspaper stand, conference facilities and Internet access (charges apply). Guests may also take advantage of the laundry service (charges apply) and parking is available (for an additional fee) for those arriving by car. This property is centrally located on 31st Street, just 3 blocks down 5th Avenue from the Empire State Building. There is a subway stop just 2 blocks away and the Civic Center, Times Square, Macy's and Rockefeller Center are all just a short walk from the hotel. Guests can work out in the on-site gym. Guests are served breakfast each morning.

Great Location

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — Just got back from a great 3 day stay at the Wolcott and we were pleased. The price was right! The check in was smooth and they let us up to our room several hours earlier than the stated check-in time. Everything was spotlessly clean and absolutely no odor of cigarette smoke anywhere though it was a room that allowed smoking.The queen bed was very comfy and the pilllows were shall we say not like home. The Hotel is on the corner of 5th Ave and 31St. so the locations is in walking distance to many points of interest. Our train was a late night depatrture,they had great lockers for 50 cents to store our bags until we needed them. Every one was very friendly and helpful on staff. All in all- we will definitely return to the Wolcott on our next trip to NYC.

Perfect location, comfy beds

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — This hotel suited us perfectly for our new York trip, we were able to walk everywhere and 5 minutes had us right in times square! The beds were also really comfy which I think is really important in new York because the days are so hectic you really need a good nights sleep! I thought it was good value for money and they did lovely fresh muffins and tea and coffee in the lobby in the mornings. Highly recommend it!
