This chic oasis is appropriately set in an intimate and stylish retreat just steps away from Avenue Montaigne. It has been recently renovated, and - from the glistening marble lobby to the sumptuous lounges - this boutique hotel evokes a sense of refinement, elegance, comfort and, above all, luxury. The guestrooms are extremely well-appointed with Parisian flair, between modern and renaissance style, under the artistic direction of Pierre-Yves Rochon. The hotel's bar offers an elegant conservatory and the restaurant and the meeting rooms are all equally inviting, with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, reflected in a lovely afternoon tea service. This establishment comprises a total of 40 rooms and the facilities on offer to guests include air conditioning, a lobby area with a 24-hour reception area, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a lift, a breakfast room and Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services. This hotel is tucked away in a charming side street off the Champs-Elysées, less than 3 minutes' walking distance from Arc de Triomphe and just steps away from the Avenue Montaigne, home of the world's most famous fashion houses (Chanel, Christian Dior, Ferragamo. .. ) as well as restaurants, theatres and cinemas. It is only 10 minutes on foot from the Eiffel Tower. St Lazare station is around 3 km from the hotel and the nearest metro station is Georges V, a mere 100 m away. Orly Airport is around 20 km away and it is some 30 km to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Guests may relax with a massage treatment. Guests may select their breakfast from a continental breakfast buffet. By Train: travel to St Lazare station. The nearest metro station is Georges V. Rue Magellan is between the Champs Elysees and Avenue Marceau.

Very nice stay

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. It was our first visit to Paris, and the location of the hotel was excellent, just a minute to walk from the hotel to Chanps-Elysees. The staff was very serviceminded. The room was clean and nice, and it was very quiet. There were absolutely no noise from the streets, but we could here some sounds from the other rooms at the hotel. Very good aircondition, good breakfast (we missed the Norwegian bread...). We got a special offer and paid for only two of three nights, and we think it was good value for the money. We will definitely choose the same hotel for our next trip to Paris. Highly recommended!

Excellent Hotel!

Stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. We found the hotel to be just perfect both in the quality of the rooms and service. The hotels location is perfect to visit all the sights. We booked with Skoosh and i must say that this was great value for money.

Very lovely smaller hotel is a great location. The room was small, but very well appointed. We got an incredible rate, making this an outstanding value. The breakfast was also very good, very pleasant room, great value. All in all, I plan to return again on my next trip to Paris.

Wonderful romantic hotel

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — Have definitely loved our stay at the Francois 1er Hotel from Paris. We had a standard room, with bath, extremely well decorated and very clean. The breakfast had a wide offer and was placed in an amazingly decorated saloon. We always had the impression of living in Napoleon's suites. Moreover, the staff was very nice and the hotel was place at 2 minutes walk from the Champs Elysees. Very good value for money and would definitely come back again.

This Hotel is pretty good

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — This hotel is in an excellent location very close to the Metro (George V) and close to all the designer shops. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very helpful. We had a room on the sixth floor but the room was very small. The double bed is more like a big single so it was not that comfortable. It was difficult to walk past each other as it was that small. The decor is nice and the bathroom is well fitted but the shower went from hot to cold and vice versa very easily. The bar is not that well equipped and while they made me a sandwich during the day, food availability is poor. They only do breakfast which again is OK. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. While recommending the hotel, I would however spend extra and get a bigger room.
