Yes, I would highly recommend this hotel to others. From Soup to Nuts it was great. The accommodations were excellent (I give it an A). The food was okay but plenty of it. There were parties on the beach that were done so well. I can't say enough about our stay. Great value for the money and yes, expectations were met and beyond.

We definitely recommend this hotel. It was very beautiful and the staff is friendly. The beach is nice, with waves right in front and calmer waters on the corner.

The pools were great and big, although slightly warm due to the shallow depth. All of the bars had good service and mixed great drinks. Our favorite restaurants were Agave, Spice, Toscana and Oregano Pizza. The Grill was ok (meats were tough, even the fillet) and we didn't like the Caribbean lobster at The Lobster House. We didn't make it to Chez Isabelle or Barcelona so can't comment.

Watersports are lacking. They only have one Hobie Cat, two wind surfboards (not windy enough) and a few body boards. Everything else is for pay.

Transportation to and from the hotel was great because we pre-arranged it with a private company (direct route, no other drop-offs).

Overall, this resort was very good.

My husband and I recently stayed at the EPC from June 26 until July 2. The beach was amazing, the drinks great, the pool very nice, the room above average. We were most disappointed in the food. It wasn't bad, but was far from excellent. It actually became a joke to see what the waiter would bring for dinner- as it was always a variation from the discription on the menu.

I would definetly recommend excellence to others. Its a romantic location, and every room has a terrific view. it was a great value for the cost, and all expectations were met. Althouh there were a little hitches along the way, the staff was very acomadation and willing to provide great customer service. the seven resturants were great , i definetly reccommend spice and the grill. the flank steak was great.
