This was a cute little place in a nice quiet location. The roof top garden has the best place to begin or end your day with a million dollar view. The staff was nice and helpful. Lots of places to eat near by, close to train station and walking distance to just about every attraction in the city. This hotel met our expectations.

I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are small, as expected. The complimentry breakfast was nice and pretty much typical in my experience. We really enjoyed the roof top cafe where we had enjoyed our breakfast and drinks in the evening.

OUR RECENT STAY AT THE MARCELLA ROYAL HOTEL IN ROME ITALY WAS WONDERFUL,OUR ROOM WAS NICE,THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS GREAT,VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL SUGGESTIONS( THEY SPOKE ENGLISH WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL TO US)
THE ROOF TOP GARDEN WAS BEAUTIFUL,THEY SERVED A VERY NICE BUFFET BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING AND SERVED A LIGHT MENU AT NIGHT,PRICES ARE HIGH ON DRINKS AND MENU,BUT WE FOUND THAT QUITE A BIT IN ROME.ONE OF THE GEMS AT THE MARCELLA ROYAL HOTEL IS THE BARTENDER SALVATORE AT THE ROOFTOP BAR,HE IS TERRIFIC WE HAD THE BEST TIME TALKING WITH HIM SO VERY NICE AND HE GAVE US QUITE A FEW SUGGESTIONS OF THINGS TO DO,HE WAS A VERY NICE GENTLEMAN.THE HOTEL IS ON A QUIET SIDE STREET ABOUT A 15 MIN WALK TO TRAIN STATION.OVERALL WE A WONDERFUL TIME AT THE MARCELLA ROYAL HOTEL AND WE WOULD STAY STAY THEIR AGAIN IF WE RETURN TO ROME.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to buses etc.Very helpful staff in a clean hotel. The breakfast was good and beautiful views on the roof garden.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a five night stay in Rome at the Marcella Royal on Via Flavia. Only a 10 minute walk from the Termini, the hotel was easy to locate and reach with a suitcase. Upon arrival our bags were taken to a clean, good sized, air conditioned room (much needed in the hot July heat). The only thing missing from the room was an iron and tea/coffee making facilities. The continental breakfast was hosted upon the roof garden: the prize of this lovely little hotel. With fantastic views over Rome, breakfast was an enjoyable part of the day offering pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, scrambled egg and bacon plus coffee, tea and juices. The view from the roof gets better in the evening, but if you were thinking of supper upon the roof I would recommend searching further afield. Limited options and small portions.
