The Hotel itself wouldn't be described as luxury, but is definitely very comfortable and nicely presented. In particular, the service was outstanding as all staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. Value for money was terrific and the location, while not central to the Old City, was still very proximate (about 10 mins to the centre of the Aldstadt). Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very nice hotel in Salzburg with great value for money.

The hotel is in a very good location with extremely helpful and friendly staff, who recommended good restaurants for trying authentic Austrian food.
Rooms are clean and facilities, while not top of the range, are more than adequate for a weekend stay. Breakfast was included in the price and was of a good standard.
There is a small bar up the road (called Meggi's) where 70s music and singing and dancing are all happening. Great for a laugh with the eccentric owner Meggi. Only a two minute walk from the hotel.
It is very well situated for Mirabel Gardens and we would recommend the bike tour for Sound of Music sightseeing. They will book it for you from hotel.

The hotel was good value for money, and within a short walking distance of the old town. The room was a decent size with a nice, large bathroom.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful (very happy to help book day tours etc.) and spoke very good English. I would happily stay there again.

Fairly good value for money. Reception was friendly and welcoming and room was well equipped. Though bathroom was spotless, the room was a little dusty. The breakfast was superb.
