I would definitely recommend this place to others. Mainly for the high quality of service that we experienced. From the time we checked in till we left, the staff was always cordial and helpful with whatever questions or requests we had.

It was definitely well worth the money we spent and we were actually a little sad when we had to change to another hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The only caution I would give is if you are driving and have a car, the parking in the building is rather limited and gets full fast. They do have an alternate lot that is only a block away (in a safe neighborhood) and that is cheaper than the rate the hotel charged for parking.

It was a good location, the front desk was very helpful w/ public transportation, & for SF, it was a good value.

Renovated and well maintained. Good location for the Asian American International Film Festival. Short cab or bus rides downtown or to the Castro

The hotel was billed as an "anime" redesigned hotel and it was in the room, but it lacked the theme follow through in the public spaces - the lobby is cold, the halls cheap looking with no anime in sight, so my recommendation is to put more anime spirit into the venture. Too bad it does not have a Japanese style bath. It was good value for San Francisco, and the location is excellent if you want to spend time exploring that area of SF.

The room was very spacious, very clean, and delightfully decorated in a modern style. For SF (known for very high hotel rates), the room was a very good value. My expectations were exceeded by the room's cleanliness, comfort, hotel staff's friendliness & helpfulness, and even the toiletries were nicer than expected. Had difficulty connecting to the hotel's wifi, but the desk provided a LAN cable promptly gratis and all was well. Walls were a little thin, so heard the room next door playing crap techno music at 9 am. Had to get up anyway, so wasn't all that bothered. I would've stayed longer, but the rates were out of my budget.
