The Mosser was a nice value, the staff was very helfpul ( an issue with the remote control was resolved within minutes), the hotel couldn't be more conveniently located, and the bathroom and bedroom (though small) were nicely appointed. Downsides: the third floor room was close enough to the street that it was very noisy.

This hotel is ideally located - just a around the corner of Powell Street station and Union Square. The decor of the rooms was really chic, the bed was very comfortable, the shared facilities were extremely clean (indeed, they were constantly cleaned) and the staff was very helpful. I could even stay there until one hour after the official checkout without being charged an extra fee. Annabelle's Restaurant was also nice, as were the complimentary items in the room and the spartanic breakfast in the lobby. The only bad thing was that my room was facing the backyard, and the airings of the surrounding buildings were really loud, even when the window was closed, and I had to open it because room temperature was rather warm. However, everything else was just fine, and I would definitely stay there again.

Will definitely go back again. Room kinda small be nicely decorated and clean. Had a flatscreen TV and CD player. Great location for those coming in on the Bart. Friendly, helpful staff.

Good point: Location

Bad point: Elevator is slow,

Staff: One lady is very Bad. No kind.
When I ask a one cup of "hot water" to her, her answer is very surprising to me. "We can not provide "hot water" at all and you should ask the adjacent restaurant !!!

Like this, Hotel is Good but Bad staff Poor staff are included.

Small, efficient rooms with very friendly staff. If you are lucky enough to ask for a particular room, ask for a corner with bay window. No inside rooms, which are considerably smaller.

I have stayed at the Mosser for many years, and remain flexible to size and comfort. The price is very right.
