The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. They are in the middle of rennovations and the kitchen did not have items we wanted. The salads were very good but expensive and small portions.
Overall a great stay and good location.

It was with a bit a trepidation that we checked in when we found out that their construction project wasn't complete (having just had a bad experience earlier in the year). However, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that it didn't affect us and there were little extras like champagne. The newly appointed rooms were very nice, ours was roomy and very comfortable. The concierge service was excellent and always had useful suggestions. It is a steep climb from Chinatown to the hotel, but it's nearby location made it bearable!

Great Location. Big Rooms with flat screen TV and very comfortable beds and pillows. Helpful, friendly staff. Good value.

I would recommend it. The location is great - cable cars on the corner in all directions. But the hotel is starting to show its age a bit - it could use a good sprucing up, especially in the bathrooms. It would have been helpful to have a safe in the room and a mini-bar: there is plenty of room for both in the closet.

Room service was outstanding - the food arrived quickly and was still hot. The breakfast buffet, though, left a lot to be desired.
