Red Roof Inn Seattle Airport

Red Roof Inn Seattle Airport
Red Roof Inn near SEATAC airport, Seattle WA

Review by: Steve , Burlington, United States

Stayed: Jul 2008

The shuttle bus was prompt and the driver was courteous. The room was clean and quiet. I was just staying over night en route so I didn't need or expect much in the way of frills. I was surprised that I didn't hear any airplanes. There was no breakfast and the coffee machine was broken, so that was the only hitch. The hotel is located on a bus route and I took the bus into downtown for a little sight-seeing for $1.75 each way. It was a local bus with lots of stops but I didn't have to change buses, so it was easy. My expectations were met and I would recommend this hotel.

Grand Hyatt Seattle

Grand Hyatt Seattle
Will stay at the Grand Hyatt again!

Review by: Jamie M. , Elkridge, United States

Stayed: Aug 2011

This hotel is magnificent! Everything is top-notch! Upon entering the lobby you're greeted by the friendly staff and gorgeous decor. We stayed in a room equipped with two double beds (which apparently they do not have many of). The linens were fresh and fit for royalty! The bathroom was to die for...an all glass spacious square shower and a soaking tub. You can certainly tell that this hotel is new!

As for the location, it's perfect! Our trip was primarily for shopping/tourist activities and you can access any attraction/store from the Grand Hyatt. The neighborhood was beautiful and had many choices of restaurants. The space needle was a bit of a longer walk from the hotel but still reasonable (~15 minutes). If I return to Seattle I will most definitely stay at this hotel again!

Paramount Hotel

Paramount Hotel
Modern, boutique hotel

Review by: Angela , Asheville, United States

Stayed: Jul 2011

Had a great stay here. The room was well-appointed. I liked that the sink had a large countertop and was outside the bathroom. Nice ammenities, and the staff accomodated some special requests I made prior to arrival. The staff was great, very welcoming. The lobby feel and staff reception made the hotel feel quaint in a very welcoming way. No big bar right in the lobby which I like...hate walking through a huge bar/sitting area when I'm jetlagged to get to my room. but there are plenty of bars and restaurants around (great location) not to mention shopping right around the corner. I didn't love the room service food options - asian flair and a very limited menu. The food wasn't very good once it arrived either. Great hotel - I'd just avoid the room service next time around.

Warwick Seattle Hotel

The Warwick Seattle was wonderful!

Review by: To Seattle from Mary , Keedysville, United States

Stayed: Jul 2011

I would Highly recommend the Warwick for your stay in Seattle. It is super conveniently located. It is close enough to walk to the Space needle, Puget Sound, and Pike's Market. It was clean, fresh, and a good value for the area. The staff was very helpful and met all our "tourist" needs. The cleaning staff did an excellent job! We would certainly return to this hotel if and when we return to Seattle.

Overall very good stay

Excellent location; good sized room; friendly service; their late afternoon wine hour needs some work - a glass of wine, no snacks with it, seems odd for a hotel of this caliber.

Great Location Spacious Room

Review by: James , Woburn, United States

Stayed: Sep 2010

I was a first time visitor to Seattle, and everything was within walking distance. If you fly to SEA-TAC International, take the train to University St for $2.50 and you'll be 2 or 3 blocks away from Hotel Vintage Park. Super convenient. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Nothing to complain about. I wish I tried the restaurant inside, Tulio's. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Great Hotel better than expected!

Review by: AES , Miami Beach, United States

Stayed: Sep 2010

I was impressed with the facilities, cleanliness, atmosphere and comfort. Better than I was expecting for the price we paid. Although the location was in a hill on the north side of downtown I enjoyed the exercise!
I highly recommend it and would go back if I visit Seattle again.

The hotel is located on a great location and you are near all the places to see.

The staff in the hotel is nice and very helpfull.
The parking place is very convenient if you are travelling by car.

We will certainly would love to go back!!

The only disapointment was that the coffeemaker in the room didn't work, but hey we can live with that -)

Roosevelt Hotel

Roosevelt Hotel
A slightly rough ride

Review by: Ferdy , Skokie, United States

The Roosevelt Hotel is well located and well maintained for an older hotel. I liked the history and the charm, and the room was not the usual cookie-cutter place. However, the elevator security system is difficult to use. The hotel ran out of regular coffee for the room, so we had to get coffee in the lobby. The closet was small, and the queen-size beds we expected were actually doubles. Everything was extra (wifi in the room, even making local calls) and the service was spotty. I called the desk clerk to inquire about an airport shuttle, and she switched me to the concierge. When the concierge didn't answer, she gave me the information I asked for. Why couldn't she just have answered me the first time? The price was good by downtown Seattle standards, so I can recommend it, but it was just a bit of an annoying experience.

Edgewater Hotel

Edgewater Hotel
Awesome

Review by: Arleen , New Castle, United States

Stayed: Jul 2010

I was pleasantly surprised after reading how old the hotel was but it was nicely upgraded. I paid an extra 50 a night to upgrade to a waterfront room and it was definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. A little pricey but it was spotless clean, the linens were great, and the food was delicious and reasonable. The room was cozy and the fireplace turned on automatically when it became a certain temperature. I have to say that all of my expectations were met and I would definitely stay at the Edgewater again.
