The hotel was clean, has a great location, the staff was great and the price was very good especially when comparing it to the hotels surrounding it.

The food was a good surprise too

Don't pay more than $120 per night. While the location is perfect (30 minute walk to Pike's Place, 10 minute walk to monorail) the age of the place really shows. The pillows are wimpy (3hotel =1 normal pillows), you can hear what's going on in the hallway, and the elevator's are small and slow. One other gripe is the $15 parking, but that's comparable to most other hotels/parking lots in the area.

However, they do keep their parking lot secure, have decent a/c, two computers/printer for public access, and did I mention their location is fantastic?

The Sixth Ave. Inn is exactly what it advertises itself as, a good budget hotel. It's got a great location. It's good a decent restaurant (at least for breakfast). The rooms are a bit plain and, frankly, could use a bit of work to "fluff" them up. The bathroom had only a shower. There were four or five tiles missing where they had obviously recently patched something. There are dispensers on the wall for soap, shampoo, etc., instead of little bottles. This all makes it sound tacky but it's not, it's a budget hotel with a budget price when compared to all the hotels around it. It has great air conditioning. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were great. I would stay here again.

yes, of course, staff was very nice and accommodating, food was excellent in the restaurant, bed was the softest and most comfy of any hotel in a very long time, rooms are nice, actually we thought at the price the place would be kind of dumpy, but it is a very nice place. Will ALWAYS stay here when in Seattle.
