Reviews Of Bond Place Hotel, Toronto,

Review by: anonymous, East Amherst, United States

This hotel was good for the price. It wasn't that fancy, but it did it's job. The room was nice and there was plenty of room to move around. One problem was that the beds were on wheels. This could be helpful in some situations, but for me it was a bit annoying. The hotel was under construction while I was there, so we didn't have access to a pool or anything. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to people traveling to Toronto. It wasn't that expensive and it was right in the middle of Dundas square.

As a regular there (once every 3-4 months), i do recommend it. Don't expect a wowish hotel, for the price it is ok nothing more. They changed the tvs for plasma lately yay :P but the rest is the same, beds are so-so baths are small. I always go there cos for the money it's worth it and the location is great, it's so close to dundas square and eaton center it's perfect. If your only looking for a place to sleep nothing more in an excellent location with a low price then go for it.

Yes definitely recommend it to others seeking a simple, affordable, clean hotel with GREAT location, affordable Toronto parking! and the friendliest staff!
This is very simple, older and few fancy ammenities but therefore the price is right and great value for the money. This is not a lounge around and explore the hotel type of hotel but rather a great, safe and secure, clean place to put your head down after a long day in Toronto!

The Bond Hotel is in a great location, and is a good bargain for the area. It could use updating, however. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, and the bathrooms are not worn. Having said that, most of my time spent in Toronto is out and about, so it is a good place to lay my head at the end of the day. Right in the midst of shopping and dining, it is an easy walk to just about everything. And for the price, I cannot complain too much. If you are looking for a bargain, and not too hung up on the details, Bond Place is a good place to stay.

I stayed there on 2 separate nights on this trip. I 1st had a 1-bed, then a 2-bed.
It was quiet and the staff were very professional and easy-going, even when I was late for check-in.
It's in a great location, near everything you need!
The price was good, and I'd stay again.
Security is good too.

I have stayed at the Bond Place several times, and this past experience was my least favourite. Everything was fine -- but just fine and not at all exceptional. The room was rather small, and terribly over-heated, but clean and adequate. The decor is outdated, but in good condition. Service was good / fine, but I didn't really require a lot.
If you merely want a room to rest your head, the Bond Place is fine (and inexpensive). If you want anything at all memorable, I'd say "keep looking". I probably won't go back.

We would both like to say what a nice hotel it was. The staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble. The guy and girl on the front desk told us about the places to go and see. Gave us maps. The hotel was good value for money. The meals in the restaurant were a bit pricey, so we tended to eat out, but good portions were served. The hotel is situated across from Dundas Square, which is where the Eaton Shopping is and Sears (Big departmental Store). Yonge Street is just a few yards away. This hotel is very central to everything, which includes Yonge Street (entertainment area), CN Tower (Walkable from hotel), River front (for boat trips), Shops and restaurants nearby. Tram stops a few yards away from Hotel. The hotel has a bus that goes to and from Pearson Airport every 1/2 hr which takes 1hr5minutesdoortodoor.
