We spent quite a lot of money on this hotel (£600 for 5 nights) in mid-May, & don't think it was worth it at all. Clearly, Venice is an expensive location, however the quality of our room was not value for the money spent. There were no drawers in the room, the bed was 2 small (hard) matresses pushed together, & the en suite was extremely small. There was no evidence of it being a "boutique" hotel, other than the furniture in the reception area & the nice smell.
The hotel is really quite hard to find; get to Billa (supermarket) on Strada Nova & it's on the left (coming from Fondamenta Nuove) go down a wee alley called Calle San Stua & it's round to the right from there.
Reception staff nice, but wouldn't recommend this hotel.
HIGHLY recommend Venice.
