This 14th-century villa is furnished with antiques and Murano glass chandeliers. The air-conditioned establishment offers 36 rooms in total and facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, TV lounge, café and a breakfast room. Wireless Internet access and room service are available for a fee. Overlooking Venice's Grand Canal, this historic hotel is a 5-minute walk from Rialto Bridge in a quiet neighbourhood of Venice. It is well connected to St. Mark's Square and Santa Lucia railway station by vaporetto (water bus). Marco Polo airport is approximately 12 km from the city hotel and S. Angelo airport is around 32 km away. A breakfast buffet is served each morning.

As of August 24th Venice will implement a new accommodation tax that must be paid by the guest at check out. The fee is from € 1.00 to max € 5.00 per person per night depending on hotel location, hotel category, and seasonality. This apply to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights and children under 10 will be exempt from the tax.

Great place to stay with valporetta waterbus close by. Room was fantastic (family room with large double and 2 single beds) 5 Mins walk to Rialto Bridge Staff are very happy and very willing to help We did not have breakfast as Italians don't really do breakfast - we went for brunch instead and had a lie-in each day :) We enjoyed drinks each evening on the hotel's jetty/veranda. There is no restaurant, Its not a big hotel, and its in a quiet location, but for our visit it was perfect and the room was perfect with good air conditioning

Nice Venitian flair

We wanted a hotel w/character that made us feel we were in Venice and this hotel did the trick. Very nice location with a deck that can be used any time right on the Grand Canal. The room has a nice decor reminiscent of old grand houses w/red walls, gold trim around the bed, big chandelier. The AC worked very well, so did the internet (for a fee). The bathroom was clean, a little bit small but mostly really needs a shelf to put toiletries on and extra hooks. The buffet breakfast was all right, however the coffee was a big disappointment, just plain coffee out a carafe, no espresso or cappucino ! This should be mandatory for Italian hotels :) I am definitely recommending this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in Venice.
