We arrived very late to Venice, midnight, we were very pleased to find a written message in the door for us advicing us that the checking closes at 11pm but giving us full details on how to get our keys and everything. As soon as entering to the building someone greeted us and gave us all the information . The room was surprisingly good, clean and big for a 2 Star hotel a bit noisy in the morning as our room was just under the breakfast room (bunker like), has wooden floors so despite not sleeping too much we had breakfast.... which I have to say is awful! Worst ever we have had! We do know that generally breakfast in Europe is not good but this was the worst. Hard, old bread, kind of double-cream like cheese and salami. We realised there is no kitchen but at least bolied eggs!
