Villa Stucky was a great place to stay ti visit Venice. About 10 miles from the city, it was located in a quiet and picturesque town that was a relief from the croiwds and noise. It was an excellent value for the money. The breakfast was good, but not spectacular. The staff was friendly and helpful

The Villa Stucky was a real treasure. It's a charming small villa set in a beautiful park like setting in the lovely town of Mogliano (a ten to fifteen minute train ride to Venice). The interior has everything you expect in a restored villa (elegantly appointed antigue furniture, murano glass chandeliers, gilded mirrors, etc) The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The town of Mogliano has lots of small shops and some excellent and inexpensive small restaurants. It's a five minute walk to the train (2 euro fee) and a ten to fifteen minute ride to Venice. For what you're getting the price is great. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone wishing to travel to the Venice area.

The hotel is located in a town outside of Venice that had its own charm. It was walking distance from a few good restaurants and bars, and the train station to Venice which took only about 10 minutes to get to and was less than $5 round trip (i forget the exact amount). This was nice because after spending all day in congested Venice you could come back to the town, stretch out and have dinner.

My companions and I loved the hotel. It has a mansion feel to it, with high ceilings, 17th century Italian furniture design, and french doors right off our room - which set us in the mood for Venice. The bathrooms seemed recently redone, clean and modern.

The young lady at reception was very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast very satisfying! Overall a great place to stay at a great price!

This was a one of a kind hotel, superbly restored in a traditional venetian villa style, with unique pieces of antique furniture. Access to the train station to get into venice was a 5 minute walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast had a good varierty. I would definately recommend this hotel.
